200 Troubled Teenagers in Paris

Altamont and Colette present 200 Troubled Teenagers, an exhibition of photography by Angela Boatwright and Patrick O'Dell
New York-based photographers Angela Boatwright and Patrick O'Dell turn their lenses on the new school of kids transitioning into adulthood on their own terms in their duel exhibit called 200 Troubled Teenagers. While Angela's work is comprised mainly of teenage heavy metal fans and Patrick's attention is on young skateboarders, both artists demonstrate an intimate familiarity with their subjects and subject matter that can only result from each artist's personal experience growing up within their respective subculture: The older generation telling their stories with the newer.
The show makes its way from New York and Los Angeles to the Colette gallery in Paris with an opening reception on September 3, 2007, when both artists will be present.
