Look I’m not saying the Altamont Showcase was the best party of all of SXSW, but it was kind of the best party of all of SXSW. The Sailor Jerry house provided us with shade, free tattoos, and enough rum to kill a pirate and over six hundred smiling faces were treated to incredible performances by King Tuff, Hanni El Khatib, Pangea, White Lung, Nü Sensae, Hunters, Meat Market, The Blind Shake and The Lovely Bad Things. Times were had, friendships were formed and people rolled around laughing and singing in the dirt (people = myself and Daniel Pitout of Nü Sensae). Special thanks to our pals at Cultist and Blundertown for making magic happen.
